The sponsors for the projects featured in the Town Deal bid will be on hand to discuss their early-stage business cases being developed for the final sign off by the Board, Calderdale Council and the government department for Levelling up.
Members of the Town Deal local expert panels on Sustainability, Inclusion and Youth Engagement will also be on hand for ‘conversation’ sessions on how they can support and ensure the Board and all projects address these important issues for our town. (You will need to book for these sessions see below).
The open day is not about what we spend the Towns Fund on but how we develop the projects within the already agreed funding for those projects.
Come along and hear how we developed the bid, chose the projects and what the next steps are.
We will be open from 10 am to 3 pm for conversation in general. This Town Deal is about the sort of future we want for our town. Young people have to be at the heart of our thinking. That’s why one of the first things we did was talk to young people up to 24 years of age and produce a first cut of our strategy for youth.
