As we reach the end of 2024, we’d like to thank everyone who has engaged with the Programme and Projects this year. We very much appreciate the time, thought, care and challenge contributed by many in our community.

Feedback from public engagement has informed the approval of the walking and wheeling improvements as the preferred option for the Active Todmorden Project & it will now move to the next stage of design.

A special business breakfast event offered local businesses & trades people the chance to find out more about growth opportunities in the town, including those associated with the TTD Projects.

The restoration of the Bandstand and transformation of the Bowling Pavilion in Todmorden’s Centre Vale Park has taken a step forward as an Invitation to Tender opens for contractors to deliver the work.

Plans are progressing to create a vibrant new public space in the heart of Todmorden, where people will be able to spend time, gather and take part in events, festivals and specialist markets.

Project Partner UCVR has now submitted its Plans (for planning permission) to develop the Riverside Centre as a hub for health, wellbeing, recreation and sport in Walsden.
