Todmorden Businesses, Enterprises & Tradespeople are Invited to Find Out How to Get Help to Win Contracts to Deliver Local Projects

Todmorden Town Deal is inviting local businesses and tradespeople to a free Business Breakfast event on Wednesday November 20th 2024, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Tod College.

The event is designed to provide valuable insights and practical support for local enterprises looking to grow, improve their business, and win contracts for projects in the area.

The Business Breakfast, held in partnership with Todmorden Town Deal, Calderdale Council, and Tod College, will offer attendees the chance to hear about:

  • Go for Growth – How to get your business ‘Public Sector Supply Ready’ and tap into opportunities to work with the public sector
  • Todmorden Town Deal Projects – Learn about the major regeneration projects underway in Todmorden, including improvements at Centre Vale Park, the Hippodrome Theatre, Tod College, Riverside, and the town centre, as well as a brand-new Enterprise Centre. Local suppliers and contractors will be needed to help deliver these exciting projects
  • Green Skills – Opportunities to upskill in sustainable retrofit to meet growing local demand, plus specialist mentoring to help make your business more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet:

  • Other local businesses, training providers, investors, and project managers – you never know when networking might bring new market opportunities or open up potential partnerships.

And, of course, all the above will be served up with a delicious buttie and a brew!

Pam Warhurst, Chair, Todmorden Town Deal Board said:
